Last of the 'Canes dynasty right here, folks...they went on to crush Nebraska in the 2002 Rose Bowl, and shoulda won in 2003 for back to back championships, but for a lousy pass interference call in the 2nd OT against the Ohio State Suckeyes...Ed Reed, Jeremy Shockey, Eric Winston, Dorsey, McGahee, Frank Gore, Andre Johnson, Najeh Davenport, Clinton Portis, Jonathan Vilma all went to the NFL over the next 2 years, and Larry Coker got the boot ending 20 years of 'Cane dominance.

It's amazing that, other that the VT game, this was the closest that this Miami team came to losing all season. It sucks, tho, that both teams had to flounder; Miami by firing Coker and then Randy Shannon, and BC when Tom O'Brien left them for NC State.
