Washington, DC-area snow plow operators are working long hours to clear the roads of all the snow that's fallen over the past week. Some workers we spoke to say conditions still aren't good enough for drivers to start venturing out. (Feb. 10)
I did this for 53 years and let me tell you it was no fun with a horse and backboard. Where I was born it was nothing for us kids to walk 25 miles to school with the snow up to our chins. Things are different today. Too bad, I miss those days.
