  • Well, I tuned mine to a LOW G, then C,E,A, I believe it gives the uke much more musical range. But since the Low G made for a much more unstable sound (since the string wasn't as pulled anymore, then it would easily sound off key at the slightest more of my finger while I pressed on a chord). SO, I tuned it up one step higher, to A' D' f#' B', which would be a D tuning. It makes the uke sound richer and brighter :) !

  • It's on YouTube, search for Unknown Hula :-)

  • It's Jerry Byrd (lap steel guitar) and Marty Robbins (rhythm guitar).

  • actually it looks identical to the Oscar Schmidt that my sister owns.

  • i would really like to know what the background instrument is, is it a slide guitar?

  • thanks dude!

  • I believe it's GCEA. I have an ukulele, and mine is tuned to GCEA. Mine and his sound the same.

  • its a Samich uke i believe

  • Hey it's a really easy lesson, but I've got some questions. First did u tune ur ukulele to G,C,E,A or A,D,F#,B? Second, how hard do you hold onto the strings? Thanks I'm a beginner beginner trying to teach myself. Much Appreciation :D

  • It looks like an Oscar Schmidt uke.
