Comet Moth Warms Up

It's hard to fly in the chilly night air with cold muscles, so the cold blooded comet moth has to warm itself up by vibrating vigorously before it can take off.

why are moths so cool?

Moths > butterflys. Everyone talk about butterflys but moths are much more visually impressive. Look at that, it looks like it was painted on the guys hand. Absolutely beautiful. And furry too lol.

@Shadowblood66 Yes but it's hard to get one in germany xD And even if it's easier to get one, my parents wouldn't allow me too keep an insect^^

I wish moths like this would live here... But we only have brown moths without any special colours. But it doesn't matter I like them anyway xD

When you think of a butterfly, everyone always thinks of this huge, beautiful, colorful creature, and when you think of a moth, you always think of this shriveled up, ugly brown thing that eats clothing. Most moths don't even HAVE a mouth! And look at this thing! It could surpass ANY butterfly by far!!! It looks like something from outer space!
