I had a request to go over the steps in removing a background from an image and adding a few effects with Photoshop.

  • ty.How can i keep only the pic? i mean only the icon and keep only that with no backround

  • Sure - I posted a video response [above] with instructions on doing this. Basically you just leave the background empty (the gray check-boxes) and save the image as a GIF. It has to be a GIF [or I believe a PNG] to preserve the transparency. See the video for more info. :) Good luck!

    I have question, how do I make a 3d image from and ordinary picture. Example....(pic of a boombox or turntables)

  • 3D? Do you mean adding beveled edges or making it more 3D?
