@MsPerogi After apprentices complete their training the Unions do not want them to go into business for themselves. The Unions can sue a Union contractor if he has to hire non-union workers in order to compete with other non-Union contractors. This is what has happened to union workers. Union CONTRATORS HAVE BEEN FORCED OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF HI TAXATION , CONTRATORS FEES and the like. Union Member bulley out members who vote Republican -conserative and ANTI-IMMIGRATION..

@shutyuhscunt Look in the Telephone Book under the Trade Union that you would like. Plumber Locals Electrician Locals Carpenter etc etc. And ASK them that "YOU WANT TO APPLY. Depending on the Economy will determine how long the wait will be. YOU WILL BE CALLED IN TO TAKE AN EXAM and interviews etc. And to bring References etc. A negative note those that do make it through do not get proper PSI and or licencing preparations.

Foreigners are going to take over the construction trades and Businesses just like they have with Medicine and other sciences.The people who run the Unions have screwed up big time. They will not train even those who they let through .

@greekmaster1001 There were no PSI PREP classes in the schools run by Plumbing locals! As a matter of fact most Construction union Plumbers cannot pass the PSI exams. They have no ideal what they are! Most of them DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX FAUCETS.

im a 20 year old thinking about joining this union apprenticeship program but my question is ....How long does it take for one to get in and it is hard to get in? Im willing to work hard and get paid .

Yea I used to be in The Plumbers Union. And I am glad I am out of it. When I was an Apprentice. The workers say that I should not be a Plumber and gave me little support. They Bullied me off jobs and out of apprentice class. All because I told them how the Democrats Broke the Private sector trade unions. They insisted the Democrats could do no wrong. But I told them eitherwise. The Apprentice Liason and business agents would not do anything to help me because they were harboring drugs dealers.

a lot of us rank and file members still remember the solidarity used to mean.

Now, in my oppinion the word is a TOOL, used to keep certain members working, and regular joes on the outside looking in.

Anthony shining a spotlight on what he is experincing can do nothing but good for all of us. I suggest more members purchace video cams with there unemolyment checks.
