The try won an award for IRB international try of the year. Maybe O'Driscoll's contribution in particular wasn't magic, but the whole move was pretty slick. And as the man says, you've got to identify it somehow and the scorer is the natural name to put on it.

Wouldn't make much sense to call it the "Tommy Bowe made the most individual yards in this move try".

I dont think it's about the support soley. It was the way in which it all gelled together, from the 22 to a try - everything succeeding perfectly.

Yep but Samoa have a seriously underestimated team. Not sure what happened there though, looked like a mix of underestimating Samoa and seriously poor communication. It was after all there first game in a while, us irish are seriously rusty in our first games - we barely beat italy thanks to ROG's drop goal a few months back!

I dont like our warm up games, theyre necessary but if we lose them, knowing Ireland, it will shake our psychology and i fear another 2007.

On recent form we barely beat Samoa in November, barely beat Italy, lost to Wales and played poorly throughout the whole tournament.

However ive watched enough rugby in my time to know that the team were clearly trying to fix a new gameplan and it just wasnt clicking up until the England game. I dont believe it was a one off, just that the England factor helped the team click, and they should progress from that.

I watch S15 rugby too, and trust me, do not underestimate Australia.
