http://Shop.StrongerTeam.com - Here are a variety of basketball specific exercises and drills we use with our players on a daily basis. We use them as part of our warm-up as well as in the workout itself. These exercises and drills improve movement on the court (proper footwork and jumping/landing mechanics) as well as strengthen and increase the functional mobility of the ankles and feet. While we certainly aim to make our players stronger and more powerful... they have to be able to move well to be effective!

Many of our movement training concepts originated from our friend and colleague, Coach Todd Wright (University of Texas)!

  • i really like this video.. Im from the Philippines and since i was a kid it was my dream to play basketball in the US.. I'm 5'6 and em playing PG... This video is very fun to watch as well as i got some idea on how to do the proper footwork drills.. The only problem here is that, basketball training camps aren't as good as in the US, there are a lot of potential talents here but not all of them are trained by professionals or lets say the only thing taught here are the basics..

  • @EckoisZero Glad you like, I sure appreciate your support!

  • Hey Alan! Can jump roping be another good movement training workout?

  • @AlvisMiserable Just do what you can with what you have where you are! Good luck!

  • @StrongerTeamDotCom alright thanks, hopefully i can reap good results with it...... the only problem now is equipment. well thanks. is it ok to do only those running and sliding drills rather than doing those that needs those semicircle equipment?

  • @AlvisMiserable Yes, the drills in THIS video will help...

  • are there any ways to get nimble feet, coz i can leap quite high. I'm from singapore and i can touch the board. at the bottom of it. Highest i'm able to reach is like 2 inches below the rim. Although i'm able to jump, but the problem comes with my footwork. jumping high to block shots can be difficult at times. One is timing and another is quickness. any drills to recommend without much equipment? i've seen your jump training vid,its similar to air alert that i do twice a wk. helps somehow. thx
