Barkley didn't do anything special on the last drive; it was all about McKnight, who was the most dominant force on the field in the 4th quarter. He does get credit for not panicking and imploding when faced with great adversity, but it is an exaggeration to talk about him leading a legendary drive to win the game. Leinart vs. ND in '05 this was not.

it all stems down to the fact that he's a true freshman, that's why it's a big deal. nobody is questioning joe mcknight's importance in this win either. he's becoming a leader for this offense.

people are excited that a true freshman beating ohio state at their own field, who can blame them? i don't think any true freshman quarterback has ever beaten ohio state at the horseshoe, let alone in his first start on the road, 2nd start overall.

Matt Barkley - ranked 55th - rating of 134.50.

Terrelle Pryor - ranked 79th - rating of 116.92.

If Barkley, who "has done nothing," can still be ranked 24 positions ahead of Pryor after only two games, what does that say about Pryor?

I've been a fan of SC since the Anthony Davis game against ND, and that closing drive was highly impresssive for a 19 year old kid in front of 100+ angry OSU fans. Great highlights-thanks! Fight On!

usc lost this game. you can say whatever you want but the truth always reigns supreme. whether you pay attention or not being a fan is up to you. first touchdown...4th down....knee was down with the ball not crossing the plain. there have been reviews since, and pics are available all over the net that prove this. yes i am a buckeye fan, but im a cfb fan first. usc was given a td. now before you flame me, go do your homework. in close games like this the refs have to get this right.
