The Dueling Fiddlers Cello Suite remix: "Bach 'n' Roll" on violin / viola / fiddle

Dueling Fiddlers (http://tiny.cc/lgdoe), Russell Fallstad and Adam DeGraff, turn classical music on its ear and go toe-to-toe in this improvised, rockin' remix version of Bach's G Major Prelude (from the Cello Suite No. 1).

This was the first tune Adam and Russell performed after leaving successful Classical careers behind--Adam was first chair in an orchestra and Russell was in a touring string quartet--in search of a new, modern way to use violins (and in this video, a VIOLA and a violin). Bach 'n' Roll was their gateway drug--TDF soon morphed into a Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop Violin Duo that plays off-the-hook mashups of popular songs from the Beetles to Nirvana to Gaga, and most recently is doing original music with DJ dance beats and effects.
