Trickle Down is a lie. Look at the country in the past 30 years. The gap between the rich and the middle class continues to grow. The lower and middle class do all the actual work and production, and the rich get the money and power from it...

no poor people don't hire rich people, they buy rich people's products, so making the rich more money. people who have less money spend it more quickly because they have immediate needs, like buying a washing machine. people with money dont have as many pressing needs, so are more likely to save money.
Trickle down economics is an excuse to make the rich richer and the poor poorer, it is widely discredited as an actual way of growing an economy.

how bout letting people earn it without investing in the rich. that doesnt mean the poor should just get a bunch of stuff for being lazy but why should the rich get preferential treatment by the govt

well the problem with that is that poor people given a lot of money do not have the ability to reinvest their wealth and continue being wealthy. rich people who are rich for a reason! usually owning a business. if you take money away from all the business owners you take their ability to pay good money/benefits to their workers. rich people SPEND MONEY.. its how it ends up in the middle class small business owners hands and pays me the poor guy. see it does trickle down.
