  • Can you use your regular distortion on an amp with this effects unit?

  • @zigzaghookie yes! :)

  • Good demo. I'm seriously considering one of these. Besides delay reverb and chorus what other effects does it have? Does it have a built in noise gate?

  • @Jakechinnius hello, the gmajor 2 has, Univibe, Tri-Chorus, Through-Zero Flanger, TC Electronic reverbs, A new filter/wah block ported 1:1 from G-System, Reverse Delay, Intelligent pitch shifting, Modulated delays as well as compression, Noise Gate and EQ controls.

  • was this through the FX loop? How do the pitch and compression effects sound through the loop?

  • @guitargeek57 yes the unit was through the loop, to use the pitch and compression effects you need to make sure you amp has a serial fx loop. It usually tells you in the manual.

For example the marshall TSL122 has a parallel loop but it becomes a serial loop when the fx control is turned up to 10.

    Cheers

  • @DannyVss yes, it has the relays to control your tip to ground amp. Not sure if it can do pulse switching (ala 5150 III). Cheers, Lucius

  • hey, how does the wah sound on this unit? i've read in some reviews that it's horrible but i've read one or two others that say it's good. also, why does it make a difference on what kind of fx loop you have?

  • Hi is it possible to use a G-Major 2 and a Triaxis as a head on a cab?

  • does this have distortion on it

  • ! if i run this through a midi control board am i able click on a pedal and make it change the effects and ALSO change the channel on my amp?

  • Can you use multiple delays at a time?

  • @pedaltoneshop Hey, my Mesa TR has serial loop and it is important to me to not have any lags while changing chanels and presets with my foot controller. Does it has any?

  • Does it have a headphone output ?
