A little different from this desk...a vid featuring two of those who help to keep yours truly sane.
Now a little about the furry ones: Rachel is the Maine Coon/Tabby Mix, full name: Rachel [in honor of her twin brother Raymond] Jayne Swollen [after Jim Swollen who was a midfielder for the Minnesota Thunder A-Leage Soccer team years ago] Kinsella [after the author of 'Field of Dreams', W.P. KInsella. Marissa, full name: Marissa Anne [after the host of 'The Weakest Link'] Margheta [after Margie the Momcat] Simone [after SImon the Simonster] Maxine [after Emmy] Colletti [after the movie 'Marty' written by Paddy Chayefsky].
And these little ones have nicknames:
Rachel - Rae-Rae, Mother, Momcat. MC, Forward [after the late physicist Robert L. Forward], Ottawa Lynx, Tails, Big Bad Putty Tat, Boo Boo Kitty
Marty - Little Momcat, Daughter Cat, DC, MoMo. Mookie [after former NY Met, Mookie Wilson, Shrimpy, Little Boo Boo Kitty, Stealth Cat, Fang, Panther
I had promised to make this one for them, after all they had put up with me doing those video messages to my friend [like ya'll probably figured that one out by now] and these three really have helped yours truly from going completely bats. Humans can learn a great deal from cats about unconditional love, loyalty, faith and taking joy from the simple things in life.
