Too many girls here on youtube, and out there in the world, think anorexia and bulimia are the answers to their weight issues.

I think they're wrong. And wanted to make a video to hopefully inspire them to do things in a realistic and healthy way.

If you want to lose weight to be healthy, then do so, in a healthy way!

Eating disorders are diseases, NOT a weight loss plan!

If you have an eating disorder, help yourself before it's too late, and talk to someone you trust on how to get help.

  • i see what you're trying to do here and that's nice, however, it is apparant you don't have an ED, you sound as though you can chose to have an ED, you can't, people who "want" to get an ED won't, they will try not to eat/restrict to a silly small amount and give up... because they don't have the mental side of this dissorder... it's not about listening to the media, i hate myself think i'm fat at 93lbs, did even when i was 87lbs i can't help it,it came subconciously i wish i was normal

  • when i was sick i was eating 700 calories a day, i was depressed, self loathing, and angry at everything. i couldnt work or participate in school or hang out with friends its all ed all the time. it will consume you, it will ruin you

  • Sure it is bad to starve yourself and to eat a bunch of junk food and then throw it up or dispose it out of yourself with laxatives. I personally believe people need to live healthy lives, so being obese shouldn't be a reality. There is no reason for an average girl to be obese. That doesn't mean she should stave herself, it means she should eat healthier and exercise regularly. I know the US is full of a bunch of unhealthy commercials and lifestyles, but you can still exercise.

  • I hope you're still here to read this is how dangerous it is. I agree with fracescabc, only a doctor can tell you how good it is, but I really could bet alot that it could lead to death, I know this comment was 5 months ago so I really hope you're doing better then that.

  • You should be intaking MINIMUM 1200 calories a day. What you're doing is very dangerous.

  • You should probably up your caloric intake... Try the raw food diet (not a *diet*, but more of a lifestyle). I hear you can eat up to 8 pounds of healthy raw fruits and vegetables per day on this diet and not gain weight.

    I suggest that simply because it sounds like you're depriving your body of essential nutrients. Has your hair begun to fall out yet? Sorry, but yes, it sounds like you have an eating disorder. 500 calories a day? Most healthy people eat 2000 calories a day...
