These are two of six Cedar Garage Doors we stripped recently. The stain was a film-forming semi-transparent. Notice how dark the stripper turns the wood. A pretty weak solution was used to minimize "fuzzing" the wood. Actually had to strip a couple of areas twice. The proper neutralizer will brighten the wood back to it's original natural apperance. Because of the tannins in cedar, care is taken when applying any chemical.
