These are two of six Cedar Garage Doors we stripped recently. The stain was a film-forming semi-transparent. Notice how dark the stripper turns the wood. A pretty weak solution was used to minimize "fuzzing" the wood. Actually had to strip a couple of areas twice. The proper neutralizer will brighten the wood back to it's original natural apperance. Because of the tannins in cedar, care is taken when applying any chemical.
Did the same thing on my doors worked great. Used abrp fast finish remover off BuildingRestorationDirect . com
