I am just glad that Furthur is carrying the torch. Is this the Grateful Dead? Pretty sure it is not. But I still like it, and of course all the old heads are saying "I am glad I got to see like 2,000 shows before blah, blah, blah". We are all very happy for you. Now please move along to whatever it is that OLD people like. ;-)

We're all mortal beings here and there's no telling when that coil will unwind into dust. Bless Jerry and crew for all their efforts. It's good to see Phil and Bob still carrying on, and, who knows, maybe on Jerry's 500th birthday the Dead repertoire will still be alive. That's not too far out, huh?

Sittin' here reading these comments and i just gotta laugh (hard). I would imagine the people that are sharing their experience with this plastic grateful dead never saw the real GD. And what kind of pants is ace wearing,i think his wife is probably looking for them back at their hotel. This dude that is trying to play garcia's parts is more than annoying why is it he tries to get garcias sound instead of finding his own? I am just thankful for the 350 shows i saw before vince welnik came around

I recall your darkness, when it crackled like a thunder cloud. Don't tell me this town aint got no heart, you just gotta poke around.

Garcia must be dancin in his grave....if this thing works right we'll see each member replaced slowly over time....in 2030 the Dead will sell out 20K ...on an insane bunch of songs ....an incredible form of music conceived by and for the usage of psychedelics...opening minds
@coyote023 i too am thankful for the 700 shows i got to see with Jerry, but i think that you are missing the point of Furthur and their objective to "keep the vibe alive".we ALL had "a moment", be it 20, 30 or 40 years ago when we saw the Grateful Dead and a new world opened into our hearts, minds, souls and spirits.it happened, that moment where time stood still and we understood the world, life, the meaning of our lives and what it meant to be a part of this special thing
