Severn Valley Railway 290809

The 2 Manors (7802 Bradley and 7812 Erlestoke) were accompanied by summer visitor 4936 Kinlet Hall away from its base at Tyseley. Diesel support was from D1062 Western Courier which opens this week's video. We were fortunate to obtain our first view of newly restored Ivatt 2-6-0 43106, the "Flying Pig": to which improbability this refers I do not know! The loco looked magnificent: brilliant job by the Flying Pig team!

Thanks. I would ring Bewdley Station - contact details on their web site - and ask for an application form. You should ask them whether you need membership of the railway as well.

I've walked every inch of this line over the years Mike, and it's quite amazing to see how once good locations have now been lost to the ever growing foliage...Bob

Thanks Bob. The locations are well-used and it would be good to find some alternatives, but it is not easy; the vegetation is a real problem at many less-used sites at the moment. I will no doubt take some stick for including the diesel, but they were probably the most attractive scenes.
