What I have heard for Fence of Defense makes me think of them as more of a pop band and not a progressive outfit in the tradition of Yes, ELP, Genesis or even the Sadistic Mika Band.

sangokushi is translated from three kingdoms from chinese to japanese.... no one there calls it "Romance of the Three kingdoms" and they can't really translate that into Japanese thats why they call it Sangokushi

A good anime with excellent story and music. This OP always reminds me the unbroken friendship of Liu-Guan-Chang, and the best strategist Komei (Zhuge Liang) in the era. Well, this production is not flawless. But heck! it is still every true and entertaining to me.
However, this story should be called "Romance of Three Kingdoms", "sangoshi" was the book written by the historian - it is simply wrong.
