Ever since Katowice took part in the competition for the European Capital of Culture, the Silesian region became more popular and there was a tendency to abandon stereotypes associated with Silesia as an industrial location. We asked the Silesians on what they think about their small homeland.

Report made by journalists of International Reporters on the streets of Katowice in July 2011.
