errm the Boxer diesel has 354NM Tourque at 1800rpm i dont know 2l Stantart euro 5 diesel with that much tourge

Only "problem" was the 5 gear transmission, 'cause it had a too long 2nd gear. It's not a problem of the engine, and now has a 6 gear transmission. The Boxer Diesel is excellent!

If you have ever, ever, EVER watched TopGear you'll know Clarkson dislikes every single diesel engine on the face of Earth. In 99 out of 100 times he doesn't even mention them anywhere. Not in the TopGear TV show, not in the magazine nor the articles he writes for the papers.
He spent nearly 30 seconds making comments on this one so I bet you $50 he likes it but he won't admit it.
