Here I'm using my Taylor T5, Roland GR33 guitar synth, and Digitech Guitar Workstation to create an improvised jam. Sound quality isn't that great, but it was fun.

  • I had one of the first Roland guitar synth setups (15yrs ago+) and this seems to track pretty well all over - even low down - is that the case?

I just ordered a T5 Koa (and I have a GNX4 which I love btw) how did themidi pickup mount? Do you have to glue/drill or whatever?

Also, what string gauge are you using?

And. does the GNX4 do a decent (K4?) eq job for the T5 accoustic tone?

    (Sorry about all the questions!)

    Good playing btw

    Patrick

  • The tracking is pretty decent. The GK2A mounted with a double sided adhesive strip, so no glue or screws needed. I have 12's on the T5. The GNX4 doesn't really handle the acoustic tone too well, or at least I haven't found a patch to make it sound good. Thanks!

  • Have you got the MFX super series patch set for the GNX4?

  • I don't. I've never heard of it.

  • I'm about to buy the GR33 - was wondering if there's a built in loop machine in it...

  • Unfortunately, there is not. That would be awesome though!

  • Very good. I eBay´d one of these GR-33 recently, (too bad I don´t have a Taylor ... yet). Seeing this made me want to go play something. Nicely applied synth effects. Congratulations from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  • Great playing I bought mine in 2000 hope to soon apply some videos on YouTube I have an album with "The Groove Town Boys" & it has a lot of the Gr33 Check it out
