Do we need to use a brand of nail polish? or can we just use the base and mica?

@wtfrain You can just use our Base and mica. Our base is uncolored nail polish, but thicker than the clear lacquer you normally buy as a top coat. This way the mica stays suspended. Kaila

@msbionik No, but I have to admit it is not really an improvement over shaking, so I show it but I'm not a huge fan of using it for mixing the nail polish. It really has better uses in other types of projects.
