Gatwick North Terminal Airside

Getting ready for my flight to Manchester, UK, I watch the planes at the small viewing place upstairs from the shops until my flight was called.

is the observation deck open again? when I was I last at gatwick airport the observation deck was closed why did they have to close it?

@tich302001 They closed it in 2004 because of lack of staff wanting to work on the roof or cover it, also it was getting less popular due to the new building work obscuring the view.

Nice vid - Normally the spot where I wait whenever I fly from Gatwick North... Just out of curiosity thought, is that a BA A321? I didn't think they had any based there - Just 727s, 777s and 319s?
