@tstatech The one temperature probe plugs into the side on the 523.
The 523 is larger dimensionally but if you can believe it the 550 actually weighs more.

Like it. Just used my new 550 today for the first time. It's so sweet. I just wish the temp probes didn't plug into the sides. I know it's going to land on those some day. I'm considering building a guard to protect them. The 523 looks bigger than the 550. Where do the temperature probes connect to the 523?
