When implementing default aversion strategies on campus, school personnel should have a basic understanding of cohort default rates (CDRs) . In this session we will look at the CDR timeline and identify campus and external strategies aimed at helping delinquent borrowers. Participants will learn about the default aversion timeline, develop a basic understanding of the CDR process and how it relates to FFELP and FDLP loans, and discuss time-sensitive strategies for default aversion.

Presenter: Joe Braxton, TG senior default aversion consultant

Moderator: Thresa Tyus, TG default aversion consultant
