Thai Rebels on the streets in Chiang Mai 2009-02-08

A wild demonstration, no cops no escort only a couple of very loud speaker cars and a lot of people dressed in red carying banners I could not understand but one was in english saying some thing like "the Government is run by a enuk".

Nah the red shirt are good.

Apprently Thaksin ( which the majority most of the people support) tried to get rid of the thai mafia and supported alot of the poor farmers.

Of course the rich didnt like this and they claimed that the farmers were too stupid to vote and kicked thaksin out on a technically.

It's the yellow shirts that are a worry
