  • this guy is my complete inspiration his art is wonderful and full of life

  • I had the great pleasure of meeting Mr Davis in 1994 and again in 2000. A great and talented artist and a warm, friendly man. In my years working at Disney, I can honestly say that Marc Davis was the man who inspired me to work at a creative atmosphere like The Walt Disney Sudios. My uncle Neil was a student of Mr. Davis at Chouinard back in the 1940s.

  • @DannyBoy443 I read in Disney's bio by Neal Gabler that 70% of Snow White was rotoscoped! Too good to be true!

  • OKay am I the only one who thinks that Snow White dancing is beyond real? Like, sick real? Too good. I guess Walt really had an eye for quality talent.

  • @gregfujita He's my favorite of the 9 old men.

  • You know what surprises me? That Marc did not work on Jungle Book! I know he was working on Disneyland at the time, but I have a book that has pictures of some drawings of orangutans that he drew...and I think he could have animated a character like King Louie to a T!

  • @gregfujita You've worked at Disney? Oh my god! Give me your best drawing tips, pleaseXD :D

  • @gregfujita Yes, Marc is just like Miyazaki isn't he? They both love and respect women!

  • I am actually doing a school project on Marc Davis because he was an inspriation to me. I rank him up there with Hayao Miyazaki

  • what about Ub Iwerks aka the greatest animator in the world?
