GISELE MacKENZIE with Mel Torme. Salute to Your Hit Parade (Medley)

On Monday, May 24, 1971, former Your HIt Parade singing star, Gisele MacKenzie, joined Mel Torme on the ABC-TV program "It Was a Very Good Year" to sing a medley of the big hits that had been presented on Your Hit Parade during it's long radio and television run. Gisele starred on the program from 1953-1957, when she graduated to her own television variety series on NBC-TV. Here Gisele and Mel put their personal gifts of perfect pitch to harmonious good work on The Music Goes 'Round and 'Round, Red Sails in the Sunset, Venne Venne, Beer Barrell Polka, I'll Never Smile Again, Don't Fence Me in, Baby It's Cold Outside, Young at Heart, Volare, and Harbor Lights.
