Hi there Karen! I am also just getting back to youtube, and I am so glad to see you. I am most glad to hear your honest thoughts on the honeymoon period. I have been at the same weight for over 6 months. One time I had the flu, and lost 5 pounds - does that count?? No! Back to walk away the pounds videos, eating better (protein first, like you said) and drinking water!

You will not gain the weight back! You have done so well! Isn't the airplane seat thing great?? Hopefully we'll stay in touch!

Hi Karen, Looking good. I finally made the decision to have the gastric sleeve. You're videos have been very inspiring. I lost 14 lbs. prior to the surgery to meet Aetna's requirements and I've lost 21 lbs since my surgery December 8th and feeling great! Thanks again for being so open and honest with your videos. Keep up the videos.

Thanks Karen, You look amazing. Congratulations on your success. I am contemplating this surgery and I think that your latest post has captured the essence of any weight loss regime - the failures of the dieting/exercise routines for achieving long term weight loss are not conquered by weight loss surgery alone. Those same challenges will be with me forever but I feel that the surgery gets you to a place where these challenges are at least manageable. Best of luck and thanks again.

I want to say thank you to you, you have been an inspiration to me the whole time i have been going through all of this. I found you when i was researching the sleeve and while in appeal you kept me sane. i'm 5 1/2 months post op and today i weigh 176 and i feel better than i have in years. I'm also in 16s and its been a long time since i could wear this size. Sorry for your troubles and hope all gets better for your family soon. Take care and thanks again. Karen, I really appreciate you. I have been watching your blog well over a year now. I have been stuck for months. Head hunger and bad habits are kicking my butt. I am wearing 14-16 right now. First of all, let me tell you that you look fantastic!

I totally know what you`re saying, and honeymoon is over here too. I am struggling to get down the last 40 pounds, but I`ve started to exercise so hopefully I`llmanage to get them off by Easter or possibly summer.
