This is from the robotics lab in the Digital Human Research Center in Odaiba, Tokyo, not far from Makuhari and Tokyo Disneyland.
Sorry there is no sound, but in these clips, you can see me using a six-axis censor and a PlayStation 2 controller to draw in three dimensional space in mid air.
This technology was developed by a post-doc researcher named Joel Chestnutt, a friend of mine. Its original application can be found here: http://planning.cs.cmu.edu/footstep/
Very cool. I have always wondered why we haven't seen something like this sooner.
