Thank you so much. I decided to incorporate new flavours to our meals and I saw the mung bean at the supermarket and bought it without knowing ho to cook it. Now I know and am looking forward to create it from both of your help. Namaste beloveds

How come you hardly ever use 'Dhana-Jeeru' (corriander+cumin) powder? My mom uses it practically in every dish, especially mung. I really like the taste of it.

You can definitely add buttermilk to make Khatti Daal but we've chosen to leave it out and add lemon juice instead.
