you sompletely left out "Josephine Baker - the artist", which is what most people do. All they seem to remember is "Josephine Baker - the woman who fought racism and adopted 12 kids".

well this was a research project for school and the point of my paper was that she fought racism and and went to paris where she was successful and in the end was finally accepted in america. The paper wasn't really focused on her as an artist but really more of how her art helped her along the way
