Malalai Kakar was shot dead last weekend. She was Afghanistans first female police officer, a mother of six and a trailblazer. This documentary offers a profile of her life and work.

I made this film in 2004.

Malalai was a courageous woman and she deserves respect rather than hatred. Her assassination in 2008 is a tragedy for her family and for Afghanistan.

Thanks to so many of you who took the time to watch this video clip.

@1170OP Yes the time of men seems to be coming to an end, but thank God for the men who kill feminist women and those who wish to free women and end the young marriage of young virgins to men. Girls should certainly be married once they reach childbearing age (start of menses). I wish the best of luck to those men taking out women's rights workers, 'children's' rights campaigners (unicef etc) who try to ban men from marrying young virgins. They take away the best thing in life for a man.

@1170OP I'm not old. But yea it seems that there is a big putsch to end the rule of men world wide, to make the world a guilded hell for men and a heaven for women (especially dominant women). Great wealth is automatically created (by machines) today and given out for nothing compared to what it once cost, but young virgin brides are denied to men, sweet subserviant wives are taken away, and men are asked "what's the problem you have money and weath". Well men wish to have young virgins as bride

It is good that the Afghan men fight to protect their culture, where the men are kings and the girls are sweet pitiful and loved young wives! Hopefully their culture will spread.

There are very very few true patriarchies left in the world where men rule over young wives whom they are able to love due to the sweetness and weakness and prettyness of such females.

I'm also glad they marry the girls _young_ and don't allow them to divorce or leave EVER.
