Tribute to all who served in The Vietnam War...

My dad was a U.S Marine in the Vietnam War. He was in Artilery so he has bad hearing. He has been diagnosed with "Agent Orange". Agent orange was what they called the stuff they sprayed on landscape to destroy all leaves, plants, etc..., to destroy any possible hiding spots for Vietcong, or NVA. At the time, the United states didn't know that "agent orange" was very dangerous to humans. Most people exposed to it died years later due to cancer, lung failure, and much more. Most people exposed to it in Vietnam are dead. My dad has lost one lung due to agent orange, along with many other things I don't quite understand. My dad also suffers from P.T.S.O - Post tramatic stress disorder. The reason he has this, is because of the things he endured in Vietnam. Things he had to see. Things, he had to do. It's hard for him to talk about the war, so I don't know much.My dad also has diebetes along with a few other things. The V.A - Veterans assosiation, which helps and veterans with medical issues and all. Anyways, they are denying him most benefits because his records of ever being in vietnam have been erased. We think they were erased because he wasn't supposed to go to war due to his very bad eye site. So someone erased them hoping to not be caught. If anyone served or knows someone who could have had any connection with my dad in vienam, please let me know. I am very lucky for my dad to still be here. I am very proud of him and his bravery.

Daughter, sister, niece, cousin of Veterans. USAF Veteran, myself. None of us were in 'Nam, but I made a promise long ago: to thank every Vietnam Veteran I meet and welcome them home. They didn't get the 'welcome home' they so rightfully deserved. Thank your Dad for his service and give him a hug for me, would you? My Daddy died last year. I miss him. :( 5/5 stars.

Whether he got screwed by the V.A or not, he is still my father and I am still proud of him and the rest of our troops who fought to keep us safe.

@stormspinner1 I know just what your dad is going is going through. I am having the same trouble with the V.A. they have a bunch of incompant people working there, who get paid for screwing the vet. They could be the ones that us baby killers for all I know'

My Great Uncle was killed in this war. He was a radio man. His patrol was ambushed. He kept trying to call in artillery strikes until he died. Thank you for this video.

I am a 14 year old guy from The Netherlands. A while ago I saw another tribute video about the vietnam war. I'm intregued with it, and I have much respect for all the soldiers that died during that war. I don't know how to explain it but this video just gives a tear to my eye. Great video ;)
