  • Oh, I totally agree. If an oboist is more experienced and has the right tone quailty over the clarinet, then the oboe should play it. and if the clarinet better suits the solo, the clarient should most definitely play it.

  • 2 dislikes are probably from oboe players who couldn't play this :p
