i'll never forget chief tyrol falling to his knees while this was playing. i felt so bad for him.
-
@OmalleyDoc but the dylan version is never played in the series, and the end of the series its Hendrix's
-
@VyserisSrbija Umm no, it still wasn't written by him.
-
that means that the guy that you replied to was right, a song by Jimi Hendrix (his version) was played in the series.
"Er Ok" to you too.
-
@VyserisSrbija Er OK?
-
it was written by Bob Dylan, but, as far as I recall, when the BSG series ended, the outro was Jimi Hendrix's All along the watchtower, not BSG's (nor Dylan's).
-
@deathrider217 You say this as if Battlestar Galactica is a historical video instead of a TV show... and Hendrix didn't write the song.
-
In my opinion (even completely aside from it's context) this song represents the closest humanity has come to musical/ compositional perfection.

untill present day because if you remember the very last song was along the watch tower by jimi hendrix so even the song was repeated threw out time.
and karah was able to see her dad at the bare because he was a gohst and she herself was already dead by that time.
-
if you remember at one point Anders said that he had once played the song to a girl back on "Earth" or there Earth. and how kara knew the song can go one of two ways or both either she learned it from her dad (which she did) or it is one of those things that is ingraned in the univerce and as they said threw the whole thing "this has happend before and will happen again" so why not the song first Anders then 5 thousand years later karas dad and herself then the whole existence on earth up.....
He's an alien invader from a planet where the only language is music. There is no other way to explain how fluent he is in it. :D
