All I can say is my prayers and supprt are with you all

Well im not blaming the young men who join the military, and i do not hate your military either, but i disagree strongly against the unites states foreign policy. And statistics showed that in january, there were more american troops in Iraq who died from suicide than there were men who died in battle. So im sure it can't be that great over there... My opinion is not fact though, I got the basic freedom ranking from the UN list though. And i should have a right to my opinion should i not?

I haven't taken a poll on the stastics of the station in life, of the young people, who are joining and reupping year after year in our military to defend our country.Have you? Some are very well off. They believe in what they are doing. You are merely stating your opinion. That does not make it a fact. What is your definition of basic freedoms? Any country that doesn't have a military, soon finds themselves at the mercy of another.Look around and find out what's happening in your own backyard.

There are countries that has not gone to war at all and still have more basic freedoms than the US. Why do you assume you cannot have both freedom and peace? And if you are poor without a job and can't find one, doesn't joining the military suddenly sound alot better? No rich guy would ever join the military out of necessity or they wouldn't be rich. How many rich kids go to the middle east? I dare say the richest 1% of your people has alot less soldiers in it than any other percentage.

News flash>in the US these "young men" of all classes aren't sent, they volunteer to go.Some of these young men stay 20-35 years, because they believe in what they are doing. The ones who do the whining and bellyaching are the ones who signed up to get a free education on the taxpayers. They assumed they could go play war games 1 weekend a month+2 weeks in the year. They wanted to free load off us, to get into high paying positions, without giving anything back, not even a thank you to us taxpayers.

Now im not disagreeing that soldiers can be heroes, but fact is that war is like an american tradition, and it's always rich people sending young middle class men to die, and those middle class men truly belive that they are fighting for their fellow middle class people so i really don't blame them, but there really is no necessity for a budget that gives the military over half of the tax money, or having your CIA overthrown foreign nations goverments. it just provoke terrorism alot more.

To the men and women who serve our country: Thank-you. You are not forgotten and you are not unsupported. Until the last soldier comes home and the last terrorist is rooted out, I will fly the flag high. You are very brave, and I salute you!
