Enjoyed your video...use my name in a YOU TUBE search and you will get to my channel and see vids of teh sme area. That highway that you are on is also called Forest Gump highway. I also have a complete Gerbing electric suit...jacket liner, pants, socks and gloves...bext investment I have made for my GoldWing and I have had it on in 17* weather and was perfectly warm. hey i was just curious, i found a guy selling a gerbing liner with a thermostat for about 135$ (US of course :) ) and i was wondering if they require much electrical output to run?

I road monument valley July of '08 it was 106 degrees. No other bikes on the road then either. :)

hi, great vids. what time of year was this and what temp, 4 of us are comming over next year from the uk where it is cold an wet we thought the desert was hot, plan to hire bikes and ride from L A to Florida

It was November and the temps were in the 50s during the day. 300s at night. The elevation is around 5,000 feet through Monument Valley so that makes it cooler. It's not always hot in the desert :)

You get used to it after a while. A throttle lock helps. You can steer my weighting the pegs accordingly. When I was in Canada I rode for over an hour without touching the bars. Easy when you've got a long, straight and well paved road.
