Bernadette Peters played this part so well too. but Bette just brings this whole new level of herself into it, it makes it really powerful.

I think everybody who plays Mama Rose brings a different take on it, which keeps it interesting.

i was just cast as mama rose and i can not wait to sing this! i love bette midler, she is one of my idols its an honor to play this part :)
