Recycled coffee sacks are a green and stylish way to grow potatoes above ground at home, on your balcony, patio or in the backyard. See how we plant seed potatoes in burlap almost all year round in San Diego. Check us out at the Vista CA Farmers Market for potato kits and unique garden gifts and kits including seed paper products. At Home Grown Fun, we love to inspire everyday folks to grow their own food. Visit our website for more inspiration, adventures, crafts, food and fun. Hang out with us on Facebook and Twitter. Thanks for watching!

  • I chit every day O.o Hahahaha, lol... great video though... it was very nice and a great howto!

  • @MIgardener Thanks a bunch! I was in a silly mood talking about chitting-we cold have done a whole video on that : ) I'd like to do more comical videos - we have several in the works using interesting materials like dry ice and potentially funny themes like Little Miss Squash Blossom vs. the Tomato Hornworm Fairy.

  • Great burlap bag!!! where do you find the bags?

  • @MrSquareart I ordered a huge amount of bags at once and got a good deal from a supplier in Ohio. If you have coffee houses nearby, you can ask them for one. The places in San Diego have few to spare. I found out they donate them to the zoo and people are now using the bags for all sorts of crafts. I bring extra to the Vista, CA Farmers Market every Saturday if you are nearby. Thanks for taking a look at the video!
