I agree with Adam about 95 percent of things. But he's basically a anti-religion fanatic. He is so anti-religion that he's unwilling to accept the good that religions do. He's just as bad as the people that are overbearing and ridiculous about the shiz they believe.

@FavreianVengeance One of the problems with religion is that if gives people bad reasons for doing good things, when perfectly good reasons are available. I'm not sure how Atheists such as Adam are overbearing for simply having honest conversations about the way our world is. How could embracing & talking about reason and science ever be characterized as ridiculous within the same realm as miracles and suicide bombers?

I never heard of the countless volumes being written on non-stamp collecting. Or having kids camps, bumper stickers, and conventions devoted to "non stamp collecting" Sorry the biggest myth about atheism is that it has no content.

@Keysteeze You're confused with semantics...That's the very point. All those volumes you speak of are written on religion itself and how it's nonsense. They aren't written on "Not-religion." Non-belief isn't itself a "belief." The term "atheism" IS devoid of content. There are no activities or tenants or set of beliefs that all atheists share. All christians are just as much atheists in respect to islam as atheists are with respect to islam.

A guy rising from the dead, a forbidden apple, the talking snake, burning 'witches' alive [Salem Witch Trials], the Earth only being 6,000 years old, the Inquisition and the Crusades... That's just an extremely short summary, I could go on about various holy wars, Galileo being excommunicated for being well.... RIGHT, as well as tons of other destructive things that religion has done, including human sacrafice, suicidal cults like Jonestown and the Waco Texas Ranch. But religion is good?! LOL!

@FavreianVengeance Its not hate----Its exhaustion.I'm exhausted with religious nuts. I'm all for the things you mentioned here(Being honest,Being fair,being helpful etc.) What I object to in religion is the mind numbing doctrines(The virgin birth,Jesus dying and rising from the dead) that are forced onto people that have no basis in reality.

And BTW:WHY do you need to go somewhere and sit in a pew and have someone to tell you to be good? Arent you an adult?Havent you learned that yet? LOL

@Keysteeze Nobody has ever killed anyone for not collecting the same kind of stamps they do, or tried to torture people into collecting stamps. That same can't be said for religion.
