Need For Speed Shift - HD 9800 gt - Race Gameplay Maxed

Need for Speed Shift (4xAA). Will upload an aggressive vid soon. Many of the games visual goodies are tied to bangs and paint trading.

Mini review -
This game, although very pretty, still controls odd and somewhat choppy at a full 80fps. Use a 360 controller to play on the PC.

Graphics are super-decent, but doesn't seem to match up with GRID.... still. The crash visuals are very nice, and on long straight-aways it will blur everything up close so you can 'focus' on the next corner. Quite novel and nice.

Some neat background goodies, like driver style assessment and little achievement badges for driving tricks.

A lot of time and love went into developing this game, and it shows. It's definitely growing on me the more I play it. But it's a shame to see the control and frame chops fuck up a great game in a heritaged line of Need for Speeds.

which do u like better? Grid or Shift? I havnt played shift yet, but from videos I just cant get over how much they copied Grid.

GRID. it looks better. it plays WAY better. It's smoother. It's actually optimized to run great on even mediocre PC's. GRID is just a killer game all around.

@Armandomongearceyuth I hear that the xbox360 and ps3 versions are somewhat playable, but the PC version is NOT. try out GRID with a 360(compatable) controller if your going with PC.

I doubt that my opinion is credible since this is my firs NFS game since i think the first underground, however I say that this game is AWESOME. yes the game runs at 30fps, but it looks smooth as hell, and the sense of speed in this game is incredible. but thats just my take
