  • @Guitarburt She speaks the truth. Most of what you hear today on mainstream radio is written by a handful of writers hired by the industry. That's why it all sounds the same. Theyve dumbed down the music so much, listeners of the manure are completely oblivious of the true art of music. Its FAR worse today than it was back then. If Wendy were alive today, it wouldnt be for long. RIP Mainstream music today is complete horseshit.

  • Wendy O. Was A True Original! Did All Her Own Stunts, That Car In "It's My Life" Was Full Of Explosives While She Was Driving & She Climbed Up That Rope Ladder, No Stunt Double & NO That Doesn't Make Her A Great singer/songwriter, It Shows She Was & Will Always Be; A Strong, Brave, "REAL" Woman, As Gene Simmons Said Of Her "Wendy Was The Real Deal" RIP Priestess

  • That woman speaks the truth.

  • Nip Nip

  • I agree, but bla-bla-bla... If she was so much against mainstream, why was she in a studio, with a nice dress,3 hours work to make your hair look nice, making an interview? Just make your music and don't give an interview...give a concert ! Sounds more like a rebel-granny talking about the past to me....

  • Mainstream music is like a bic lighter, you use it for it;s brief purpose, it dies, and you throw it away. True Rock N Roll never dies...just ask Lenny!

    RIP Wendy!

  • LOL! "We're sick of Huey Lewis and the News!" You tell 'em, Wendy! Tell it like it is! RIP, babe!

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow I'd be interested and amused to hear your thoughts on the tragic death of Whitney Houston. THAT ought to be a fun read.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow well the 80 radio was good, thanks to van halen, it opened the doors for alot of others in metal back then. 70s radio was even better. But then again, the market wasnt flooded with as much trendy bs as it was in the 90s and even worse today.

  • @Guitarburt Duran Duran ahahaha.

Get the fuck out of here.

  • @believer06 Mainstream music was never good. Ever. Made-for-radio trash will always be made-for-radio trash.

  • very true she was so true she is so rare though its sad
