Inside Edition visits the prestigious University of California at Berkeley where one resident, Paul Ghysels, says his neighborhood is under siege by out of control fraternities. Ghysels says he is worried for his familys safety and has repeatedly called the police, but says the harassment from neighboring fraternities has not stopped.
Ghysels: Our home was viciously broken into. They smashed in a door, broke a window, they urinated and vomited on all of our furniture and rugs.
Ghysels says he cant take it anymore and he has filed a class action lawsuit against all 35 fraternities near the campus. Take a look at what Inside Edition found when we investigated some of UC Berkeleys fraternities.
Jim Ewbank, attorney for all 35 fraternities on campus says the lawsuit is without merit and added, We tend to see those sensational incidents, which nobody condones by the way, as isolated and not a pattern of behavior.
