@silentbugler LOTS of people fail to count in this piece. It annoys me so much! Also: two beats on the E minor chord at 0:20! He was early by about a quaver.

The resolute tempo is the salient aspect of this convincing performance. However, with the addition of some artistic musical "suspensions" (i.e., holding climactic notes slightly longer than their written values), this performance would be even more praiseworthy.

I love the sound of this particular organ! I love the screeching reeds, the beautiful celeste effect created through the slightly out of tune burdons and pausane. Overall wonderfully played.

Although the rests might not be perfectly counted, there is still just enough space at the end of the phrases to make for a decent sounding performance. And this sounds like a Baroque organ, which means it is tuned to a different temperament than modern organs. I think this is a rather good performance anyways.

@rjijmker seems to be a characteristic of Spanish Organs....slower action reeds and not always in tune. to 440

@Ntalikeris666 The reeds are fast enough, only they were not tuned... And the rests are not counted right, and that's the problem, why the piece is not sounding right. It does not have the calmness, which is necessary, to make the piece sound majestic...

Why are there so many organists who can't count to 4?
-
Even though it is offtone for some pipes this organ really does sound like Brass in this recording !!

Eu não gosto muito dos registros de palhetas... Estava muito carregado com estes registros, e um pouco desafinados os tubos metálicos.
why can't people count!!

There are 4 beats in the bar on my copy. I wish this guy would count 3+4 before each new phrase!
