@WestCoastIrk Not quite. Caviar can refer to any fish eggs, really. Salmon, trout, sturgeon, paddlefish, and whitefish are some examples of fish eggs. Caviar is usually identified with sturgeon eggs.

sorry i am kinda dumb when it comes to this stuff, but caviar only comes from 1 type of fish? What is the fish called?
-
Very neat, all the best to them.
-
they say caviar are the food of the gods... which noble like kings and queen eats this kind of dish.. added with the most luxurious wine.... commoner such as myself would only dream eating this... cuz its so fucking EXPENSIVE!!!
-
I am all for the friendly caviar trade.....also think its a bloody good idea, but there will always, always be a higher demand and price to pay for "WILD" caviar which ever way you look at it!
-
Yeah, Obviousley , the Caviar is not for you. The less people eating that stuff, the more for the rest of us.
-
it's salty and is an aquired taste, for me i like it while my parents don't, it really depends
-
It is nice, and very healthy for you!
-
It looks horrible!!
From looking at it, I have no idea what it would or could possibly taste like. I have never eaten raw fish eggs of ANY kind, so I can't imagine it would taste like anything I have ever had!! I would probably not even be able to eat it!!
(But I'm sure its nice!)
