In the summer of 2011, five students from Ashland University's Dauch College of Business spent more than six weeks in Taiwan to broaden their knowledge and experiences with business and culture in a whole new setting.

Senior marketing majors Mary Demerest and Gustavo Miranda, junior hospitality management major Kelly Cadman, junior finance major Candice McAfee, and business management alum Dan Tuleta were accompanied by Dr. Khush Pittenger, professor of management at Ashland University, on this extended stay at Providence University in the Wu Chi district of Taichung.

During their time in Taiwan, these students visited fast growing local enterprises, took a Cross Cultural Business and Management seminar and a course in learning Mandarin, and experienced a whole new culture and all of its wonderful aspects. This video shares these students' reflections on their trip to Taiwan.
