you stopped the recording too soon. you can still see a tiny bit of the sun. the green flash is supposed to happen AFTER the sunsets

come sit on the north shore with me for a week of sunsets and you'll see that you can even see the flash (not really a flash but more of a glow) even from a cloud. Its the last color in the atmosphere to disappear. has nothing to do with a cloudless sky
