From P.J. Proby´s Concert The 14th Of May 1999
Lead guitar : Allan Lovell from Swingin´Blue Jeans
The Backing Up Girls Were Really Very Good (Anybody Knows The Name Of The Girl To The Left ?) - let me know so I can add a credit for all of them)
Elisabet Melander in the middle and Diana Nunez to the right
It was really impressing that Jim did this concert although he had a terrible flu -
guess most other artists had cancelled the performance

  • Many many thanks for sharing these videos

  • @Jeaniesnoopy

Thank you for your comment !

  • I have always loved 'QUESTION' so good to know he still brings those golden oldies forward. What a great video thanks so much.

Thanks for the front row seat from my bedroom in New Zealand.

I saw PJ in the early 60's here in Nz.

  • @cleavecolin

Thank you so much for your comment.

Hope you will have a chance to see P.J. live again.

I´m sure he still got many fans in New Zealand

For the moment, I am uploading the last sequence from that concert. (Part 5)

15 minutes takes about 3 hours before it will be available at YouTube.com

  • Thanks so much for this, BearGrove, this is really wonderful! Great filming!

  • Thank you for that Manja !

I know that the sound would be better if I had choosed a place not so close to the stage, but I prefered to be as close to the stage as possible (when I got the possibility) and move around with the camera in my hands.

Sometimes I even have had to film from my seat - a seat where you never know before how the sound will be.

  • love this and him

I think that was a great choice. It's good you were able to get all the close-ups and you certainly have a steady hand! I think the sound is very acceptable. Great job!

  • Thanks - part 2 is on it´s way...
