Sophie Milman at the Blue Note

i would love to hear her in concert!

What a voice. I saw her last January in concert and she and her band were great. A great voice! She was nice to talk too and she sat for photos and autographs after the show. What a night! Can't wait to see her again.

I love her albums because of the clarity of her annunciation coupled with the emotional inflection of her signing. I saw her live recently and I was dissappointed. I thought perhaps it was the venue and where I was sitting. But this video seems too confirm what I heard live - in her live performances the clarity of her annunciation is somehow lost. You can barely make out what she's singing. Dissappointing.

@imaginit -- You're not the only one to notice. Others have made similar comments on other vids of hers. Maybe some coaching would help? Who knows. It is disappointing, though.

She sings with such ease yet so powerfully. She has a charming voice!

She's got a sultry voice that compliments jazz well. I'm excited to see her live next month!
